Coordinated patterns from driveway to front door. Steps with stamped risers and treads, landing slabs, and pathway panels in matching finish.
Slip-resistant texture is built into the stamped finish. Integral colour avoids painted surfaces that peel. Slopes properly for drainage away from pool coping.

Proper granular base compacted. Forms set to final grade with drainage slope considered.
32 MPa air-entrained with integral colour mixed into the batch. Placed and screeded.
Release agent (powder or liquid) applied to surface before stamping. Adds highlighting to pattern.
Pattern stamps pressed into fresh concrete in sequence. Borders done with appropriate border tools.
Control joints cut or tooled while plastic. Curing compound applied immediately after stamping.
Penetrating or film-forming sealer applied at 28 days. Essential for stamped concrete longevity.
Reseal every 2–3 years with a quality acrylic or polyurethane sealer. This is the single most important maintenance step.
Avoid chloride-based deicers (rock salt). Use sand for traction or magnesium/calcium chloride formulations that are concrete-safe.
Rinse with garden hose regularly. Pressure wash at low-medium pressure annually. Avoid harsh cleaners.
Stamp patterns can be matched for small crack repairs. Colour blending is required — always test in an inconspicuous area first.
Stamped concrete typically runs $14–$22 per square foot depending on pattern complexity, colour, and site access — more than plain broom-finish concrete but far less than natural stone or pavers.
A properly installed and maintained stamped concrete surface lasts 25–30 years. Regular resealing every 2–3 years is the key to longevity.
Like any concrete, it can develop hairline shrinkage cracks. Control joints are cut along pattern lines to hide them, and proper base prep minimizes the risk of structural cracking.
Texture from the stamping process provides grip, and we can add slip-resistant additives to the sealer — especially important for pool surrounds and steps.
Yes. We can match existing patterns and blend colour for isolated repairs, though a perfect match on weathered concrete isn’t always possible — full replacement is sometimes the cleaner option.
Stamped concrete creates a textured pattern (stone, brick, wood) pressed into the surface. Staining only changes colour on a smooth or lightly textured slab, with no raised pattern.
